How to choose a red light panel for your Hong Kong home

The useful question is which panel fits your home and intended routine. Compare measurable specifications and clear instructions before comparing benefit claims.

VIVAMA SOL, AURA and CIRA

1. Measure the space you will actually use

Check panel and stand dimensions, stability, access to power and the distance required by the manual. SOL is the compact tabletop option. AURA and CIRA are taller panels. Avoid choosing from a photograph alone.

2. Check what an output claim means

Wavelength, irradiance and delivered dose are different measurements. A meaningful irradiance result includes distance, instrument and test method. Do not compare numbers measured under different conditions as if they were equivalent.

3. Match controls and accessories to your routine

Read the model-specific manual and included-accessory list. SOL includes a table stand and touchscreen preset programmes. Use the prescribed positioning and eye protection; a photograph of closed eyes is not a substitute for the manual.

4. Understand what research can establish

Published trials used specific devices, settings and participant groups. A study of one mask or panel does not clinically validate every red light product. Ask whether a claim is supported by a study of the actual model, or by general research into the technology.

5. Check the total purchase

Review the current price, delivery coverage, warranty, returns and support before paying. Use the comparison table below to shortlist a size, then open the product page for current purchase details.
